SK KERIS’ PFY consists of Regular yarn and Special items with sales proportion of 45% and 55% respectively. While a regular yarn is a standard yarn produced by most players in the market, Special item concentrates more on the “niche“ market. It is “Special” because of the composition. In producing the Special item, SK KERIS concentrates highly on mixing the semi-end product with special chemicals.

Currently, the demand for Special Item is increasing magnificently each year although the business situation in Polyester Filament Yarn is not in a healthy stage. In spite of that, we keep introducing a new innovation and expanding our market and maintaining the cost efficiency in the same time by outsourcing in order to fulfil the market demand.



Out of the thirteen major PFY producers in Indonesia, SK KERIS proudly places itself on the third largest producer with 13% of market shares after TMC and PLF with market shares of 18% and 15% respectively.

With a support from SK Chemicals R&D Centre, we will always distinguish ourselves in generating special chemical items in clothing business and stay on the top. In that way, we could maintain the existing shareholder and build a new one.
