Polychem is the only Mono Ethylene Glycol producer as well as the only producer for exthoxylate in Indonesia. The extoxylate facility is build to cater the growing demand for surfactant products as well as to create synergy with the mono ethylene glycol facility. It employs a process technology licensed by Scientific Design Co. Inc. of USA and has an installed capacity of 29.000 tons per annum.
Polychem Indonesia is also one of the leading polyester and polyester related chemical company in Indonesia. We aim to be the most competitive producer and the most reliable partner in polyester industry.
The company's two divisions, Polyester and Chemical, are working in synergy. Chemical Division supplies a significant amount of its Mono Ethylene Glycol production to the Polyester Division. This synergy helps us to achieve better efficiency.
Being innovative is our motto in order to be more competitive in this industry. In 2004 we started producing Hollow Conjugated Fiber, extending our product range to support the growing polyester industry in Indonesia.
The three-manufacturing facility located in Tangerang, Karawang and Merak has received ISO 9001 quality accreditation. In addition, the Karawang plant has passed the strictest requirement for ISO 14000 certification. With these internationally accredited plants, the Company is able to produce high quality products to meet the specification of its customers globally.
